Carolyn Leevy, Founder
The Geneva Project is a mission-driven initiative dedicated to protecting mobility, dignity, and purpose throughout the aging journey.
The name GENEVA
carries deep personal significance.
It honors my grandmother, Geneva, whose life embodied compassion, dignity, and selfless service. From a young age, I watched her extend herself to care for older adults, neighbors, and anyone in need — always with quiet strength and unwavering kindness. Her actions spoke volumes, teaching me that genuine care is not simply an act, but a calling.
Her example inspired the mission and heart of The Geneva Project. Through restorative fitness, advocacy, and compassionate engagement, this work carries forward her belief that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and valued. It is both a tribute and a continuation of her legacy—one that lives on in every act of care and every life touched through this mission.
My experience as a Fitness Director within a life-plan community allowed me to merge two passions: restorative fitness and aging advocacy while developing specialized programming, educating future professionals, and partnering with organizations to elevate workplace wellness.
Through customized movement, education, and collaborative care, The Geneva Project supports residents, families, and care teams—because vital aging depends on the well-being of everyone involved.
